The Labour Ready Herbal Extract is a Naturopath (and Doula) formulated blend that supports the body in readiness for labour.

It's a great alternative for those who aren't big tea drinkers or who can't face the weeks of endless cups of Raspberry Leaf tea as birth prep!

It's also takes birth preparation to the next level beyond just Raspberry leaf.

The Labour Ready formula is created by an experienced Naturopath and Doula who has worked with mamas over two decades.

These are wise mama's traditional birth herbs, but with a modern twist - in the form of a herbal extract.

Please note these herbs help to support the readiness for labour. They are not intended to induce labour.

Labour Ready is a Naturopath formulated blend of 4 specific herbs, designed to be used from 38 to 40 weeks of pregnancy.

The 200ml blend will last the 2 weeks when taken as specifically instructed.

Contains liquid herbal extracts of:

Rubus idaeus (Raspberry Leaf)
Leonurus cardiaca (Motherwort)
Schisandra chinensis (Schisandra)
Viburnum opulus (Cramp Bark)

As a Naturopath working closely with pregnant and birthing women (as a Doula), I've used these herbal formulas with clients for over 20 years with no issues.

However, Labour Ready is not recommended for pregnant women with the following circumstances: 

• History of pregnancy loss and/or preterm birth
• High blood pressure
• High risk pregnancy
• Ongoing and underlying medical issues

Contains alcohol: Herbal tinctures by definition contain alcohol due to the extraction method used in their manufacture. Given that with each dose only a very small/negligible amount of alcohol is consumed, they still remain a very safe and effective way of using herbs in late pregnancy, when taken as directed.
