Ingredients: Organic Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) Flower, Organic Anethum graveolens (Dill) Seed, Organic Foeniculum vulgare (Fennel) Seed, Organic Cinnamomum verum (Cinnamon) Bark, Organic Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) Leaf
Why?
Chamomile: A renowned herb for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties. An excellent, gentle relaxant that is safe for use in babies needing the relaxant effects, or for any digestive discomfort.
Dill: Another excellent herb for any flatulence or wind. A wonderful herb of choice for tummy woes in babies and children.
Fennel: Contains calming and antispasmodic properties specific to digestion. An excellent stomach and intestinal remedy that relieves wind and colic, whilst stimulating the appetite and digestion.
Cinnamon: A complementary addition to this blend due to its carminative properties. Helps relieve nausea and unsettled tummies.
Lemon Balm: A wonderful calming herb to both the nervous system and the digestive system. A sweet-tasting lemon-minty herb.
How to use
How to use
Windy Woes may be taken by the breastfeeding mama and/or given directly to baby.
Comes with specific dosage instructions for babies, from birth to 6 months.
One serving is 1 heaped teaspoon.
Place loose herb into a tea infuser, plunger or teapot. Cover with boiling water and infuse for 20 minutes. Strain well. Serve warm, not hot.
