Ingredients: 100% Organic Herbs - Calendula officinalis (Calendula) Flowers, Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) Flowers, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaves, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (Uva-Ursi) Leaves, Symphytum officinalis (Comfrey) Leaves, Lavendula angustifolia (Lavender), Achillea millefolium (Yarrow) Leaves, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaves, Plantago major (Plantain) Herb, Magnesium Sulphate Epsom Salt, Pink Himalayan Salt
Why?
Calendula: The flowers are commonly used for any inflamed, damaged and/or bruised skin.
Chamomile: A well known herb due to its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
Witch Hazel: A herb with a deserved reputation for its astringent properties. It helps ease bruising and swelling and is perfect for postpartum care.
Uva-Ursi: A little less well known herb, but it has specific antiseptic and astringent effects on the urinary system. It also acts as a demulcent (soother) on tender tissues.
Comfrey: A potent wound healing herb with demulcent and astringent properties, making it wonderful for bruised and swollen tissues.
Lavender: The volatile oil within the flowers is used for its soothing aroma and anti-bacterial qualities.
Yarrow: Another widely regarded wound herb, it had great astringent and antiseptic properties beneficial to mucus membranes.
Rosemary: Another herb used for its volatile oil. When this herb is used externally it helps to ease muscle and nerve pain.
Plantain: Commonly thought of as just a weed, this plant has incredible astringent, demulcent, antiseptic and wound healing properties.
Epsom Salt: Helps to relieve the sore muscles and promote relaxation.
Pink Himalayan Salt: Salt is the original component of sitz baths. This variety has trace minerals to also help soothe and heal skin that's inflamed, itching or oozing.
